Obstacles: Are they real? Or do we imagine them?

Sometimes, we put obstacles unconsciously to prevent us from moving forward.

Why? Mostly fear.

If that fear increases, we might be steps away from achieving what we want to do in our lives. Once you’re aware of your fear, and face it, it won’t be able to control you. Life will be open up to you and chances will come knocking at your door.

One thing I practice every month is trying new type of art or subject. Even if it’s outside my specialization it still adds up to what I already know. If you find yourself not liking a specific subject try something else. Slowly, obstacles will vanish before you know it. Our fear begins big when we are entering a new experience but once you have enough knowledge and know your steps, that fear becomes too small for you to notice. Focus on what you want to do. Focus on what energizes you. And surround yourself with things that motivate you. Whether they are books or courses. No matter how small that motivating thing is, keep it with you in your journey. Also, owning too much will distract you eventually. So focus on your necessities and keep discarding what you don’t need. That made a huge effect for me personally. I started noticing more space as I discard away whatever paper or tools I don’t need.

If you wish to start somewhere, I recommend Marie Kondo’s book on cleaning. It’ll give you a clear idea on how to organize your room. It always starts with your personal space before moving to your working space (especially if you own a business).
